Reflecting on July

Hello everybody! It is that kind of post that comes once a month where I ramble on about how my month was and I pray to god that you all enjoy and somehow find it interesting!

July is that kind of year when the weather is supposed to be gorgeous and you spent the entire month wearing summer clothes, having barbecues and just loving the weather. Now as my English readers will know that this has come true and it has been ridiculously hot to the point where so many of us have been complaining because we are all melting outside and even wanting it to rain! I know what you all might think but honestly we were not prepared for this weather and its even more crazier when you have to work in it! It should be illegal for people to work when its 30 degrees or more! I love not been at work though and being able to wear shorts, summer dresses and going outside without a jacket on! I honestly cannot believe how Summer is pretty much nearly over, yes okay August is not here yet but it soon will be and before long it will be September again! Although saying that who does not love Autumn (or as other people in other countries call it Fall). That is such a lovely time of the year however I will not be talking about that yet.

Here are some of the things that I have excelled on this month!

1. Blogging
2. Work
3. Social Media

July has been a great month for blogging I have been so organised with my posts and using my spare time to sit down and blog away. Then before I know it, by the time the second week of the month is over I then think about doing a favourites blog post and a monthly one. If I do end up doing a favourites post I always like to start doing a monthly one first because I feel they can take slightly longer although sometimes this can be the total opposite. I even came up with two new blog ideas that then became post series called Sunday Style and Style Inspirations which seem to be going down great.

Work has been going great and its even better better because I have time to blog and I love being able to do that. I do have a few extra shifts coming up so I am hoping to keep on top of my posts and making sure it will not effect my uploads, I will keep you posted if there are any changes on Twitter or Instagram! One thing I am hoping to get sorted is a full time job! I absolutely need that right now even though I love working as a receptionist but its all part time and just not what I need anymore!

A couple of weeks ago it was my sisters Graduation and had the best day it was great! I was super proud of her, she achieved something so amazing! We had a lovely meal afterwards at The Botanist in Newcastle and the food was amazing. I did post some pictures on my Instagram so make sure you check them out.

I have mentioned in this a couple of times now and did a blog post all about it but the other week I came across the website weebly, com and started making myself a new blog on there but after thinking about it a lot when I was doing it, It was going to take me so long to get all my content again which meant I would be uploading the same old posts for weeks and weeks. I did not want to that and it is not fair on you guys reading the same old posts again.

So I think when I get a full time job I can invest on buying myself a blog layout, I found a really good one which bloggers seem to use and they are round about £29 which is expensive and something I do not want to spend on yet. I am quite happy with my blog layout on here at the moment anyway.

I hope you all have a had a great month and achieved something in July that you are proud of!

Happy Summer Holidays to you all!

Love, Lottie

Sunday Style By Brigitte Bardot

Sunday Style with Brigitte Bardot

Welcome back to another Sunday Style blog post, I am so happy you are loving this new series I have decided to do. As you can guess by the title it is featuring the beautiful Old Hollywood Star Brigitte Bardot.

Brigette Bardot was an successful woman, she started in over 50 films and today her style inspires so many young people like myself. Her style was classy, stylish and beautiful. She knew how she wanted to dress and the clothes she wanted to wear. So when you see pictures of her you know that she is probably feeling 100% happy in the picture.

I hope you enjoyed this post and look forward to a Sunday Style very soon.

Instagram Catch Up

Good morning, Good afternoon or Good evening (where ever in the world you are reading this) you will be pleased to know that an Instagram catch up is back on my blog! I have not done one of these posts in ages, I say ages but I mean in the last few months! The last one I believe I did was an Instagram Polaroid Catch Up with Alexa Chung which I loved doing. Today I wanted to share with you my 'original' catch ups!

Now as you may have seen if you have been following me on Instagram for a while that my Instagram feed slightly changed again.. but this time to something slightly different, I will not dwell on that too much as I have blogged about it quite recently and some of you might have seen the post 'Style Inspirations' but here are some of new things I have been loving on my feed!

I absolutely loved this picture when I first saw it on Tumblr and It would be so amazing to own a jacket like this!

How cute is this bookshelf! Wouldn't it not be amazing to know what books there is in there?

Holiday Vibes, Wishing I was on holiday right now!

I took these pictures of myself last Sunday when it was a very hot summers day!
I think I have mentioned this dress before in a blog post called 'Sunday Style By Lottie'.
It was from New Look that I got last year!

So in love with this photo of Leo, I found this on Instagram and isn't it just the best?

I hope you enjoyed this Instagram Catch up! The photos of this post are already up on my feed and if you guys are following me you might have seen them!

Keep your eyes peeled for another Instagram Catch Up blog post very soon!

100th Blog Post

Welcome to a blog post that over a year and a half ago did not this could be possible and never dreamed it would ever come to this, nor did I think I would be writing about it now. Back in February 2015 when I created my blog 'Lottie's Lott' I did not realise how much I would love it and how passionate about truly taking the time to dedicate my time to it because with any blog that is what you have to do. I began my blog writing posts that now I could not believe I even published or wrote! A few months into blogging I deleted them because lets face it they made me cringe and think 'Why Charlotte' and I could make a new post that would be 10 times better and that is what I did.

Not that long ago I updated my 'Let me introduce myself' post because when I came across it and started to read it, there were so many things I could change and wanted to make better! By doing that it surprisingly got so many views and I was so happy, I was not expecting that but it shows you that by doing something so small can completely change and brings more blog traffic. I also believe it is nice to update your picture of yourself to a new one even if that makes take a new selfie as you want to keep updating your blog now and again. I have not made a lot of changes as such to my blog since 2014, I was pretty happy with it and because I do it part time I was not able to pay and have it done so it would look professional and chic. This is something I would like to do though as its my hobby to be able to invest money into my blog just to give it a bit of a wow factor. That will come with time and I know it will not happen anytime soon but its definitely a dream to have.

I want to want to thank you all of you for reading my blog and enjoying it. It honestly means everything to me that you take the time out of your day to read a post.I know I say this often but thank you to the ones who also follow me on Instagram, Twitter and even Blog Lovin!

I'll see you all very soon with a new post!

Be happy and always keep smiling!

Style Inspirations - What I Would Want To Wear

Hi everybody and welcome back to another Style Inspiration post which I am pleased to say went down a treat with you guys and I cannot thank you enough! So as promised here is another one called What I would want to wear. Now this series is all about certain styles that you might have seen on clothing websites, Instagram, Tumblr or even Pinterest.

A quick disclaimer to just say these pictures that are featured into today's post are from Tumblr!

I do not know about you guys but I absolutely adore these pink trousers and If I owned them I would be so proud to walk around in them. Something to definitely wear in the Spring and Summer I mean wouldn't you not say so? Seeing these trousers takes me about a few years ago now to 2011/12 when I purchased some pink skinny jeans from Topshop which I loved. I always used to wear them when the weather started to get warmer. Unfortunately a couple of years ago I had to throw them away but I had some happy times wearing my jeans. Everything about this photo is something I would love to wear!

Now this photo is so dreamy, flawless and I need the entire picture in my life, the clothes and the car.
Beautiful really!

Both of these photo's I love so much, I cannot really explain how stylish they are and how I would love to own the entire outfit!

Now these last three pictures I'm going to show you I also adore? I do not know how many times I keep wanting to say that word.

I hope you all have enjoyed my second blog post of my series 'Style Inspirations'!

June Favourites

It is that time of the month where I blog about my favourites. Although I do not do this post every month I like to do these kind of posts when I have some things that I think you would love and believe it or not but some aren't vintage!

To begin my June Favourites I would like to mention the go to lipstick I have been wearing when it has started to feel like summer and its the Mac Cosmetics Lipstick Chatterbox

The Mac Lipstick Chatterbox is classified as bright red-pink with an amplified creme finish. Although I personally feel that when you swatch the lipstick and even the bullet looks like a medium rosy pink and it is a perfect colour if you are wearing a summery outfit and you want something to brighten up your lips! However Chatterbox is a bright colour and I feel it works better on people who have a light to medium skin tone and light coloured lips. However it could also work on those with pigmented lips as along as a lip liner is used. I bought this lipstick in February so I've had it for a few months now it is one of my favourite lipsticks! I took this photo when I bought it so unfortunately it does not look as pretty as this now but the colour is just amazing and I love pink lipsticks!

Next up is a shirt that I got from Next a while ago but it is something that I loved and I absolutely love something with a collar! In fact have of my wardrobe is full of shirts/blouses.. I am obsessed.
Now this is shirt isn't really something I'd wear in the spring or summer but it is perfect for autumn or winter and I'd definitely recommend picking up a shirt like this.

Next up on my June Favourites is the Lush Bath Bomb The Experimenter! Now this bath bomb has been out awhile now and to be honest I've only just got it! If you are a Lush fan and your reading this thinking 'why have you taken so long in buying this' well let me tell you. I absolutely loved the design, the smell and the appearance but what put me off buying it at first was it had quite a lot of glitter on it and lets face it glitter is so messy and to get it off the bath is another story.

So when I popped into Lush a few weeks ago with my sister I saw this bath bomb and decided I'd take the plunge and buy it!

I absolutely loved using this bath bomb, now as you can see from the photo it makes a rainbow in your bath water which is just what you want in a bath bomb, perfect to relax!

I hope you enjoyed this months favourites, I may even do another one like this again! I would as always love to hear what you thought!

Sunday Style By Lottie

Welcome to the second post of the series #SundayStyle! I am so pleased you all seemed to love the first blog post so I thought I'd do my second post on myself and to show you some of my favourite outfits I have been loving recently. Now I'm not the type of person who takes selfie's of themselves all the time because I am just not interested in that and when I'm off to work that is the last thing I want to be doing. If I buy something new or I'm in the mood to take an outfit of the day I will. So on Friday the weather was so warm and thought it would be the perfect moment to bring out my Zara mono dress I got in the January sales. Its perfect when the sun is out and you have off into town which on this occasion I was doing.

If you did not already know I'm a tall girl and this dress was such a good fit. I also paired it when my Zara leather jacket I bought last year and I wore my black sandals from Next. Its a simple summery oufit and even looks good without the jacket but still looks classy!

Next up there a a few different oufits I love and wanted to share with you in this post!

I love both of these looks simply because they are both different but show you that you can wear a pair of trainers with a smart coat and yet it still looks good.

Zara - Leather Jacket
Topshop - Jumper
Topshop - Super High Waisted Black Jeans
Topshop - Black Trainers

I bought the jumper in the January sales as it was the perfect jumper to where when in the winter months and I hope they bring some more out this year!

I absolutely adore this outfit so much! Let me tell you why.
1. My gorgeous coat
2. Fenwick Scarf
3. Zara Handbag

So now you get what I am talking about right? I love Topshop if you guys do not already know and they do the best coats ever! Every season they seem to do it! I sometimes feel that are can be too over priced!

I would love for you to let me know which outfit you liked the best! I would love to do another SUNDAY STYLE BY LOTTIE very soon and as always I hoped you enjoyed this post.

Don't Forget If you are not following me on Instagram make sure you guys do!
I have been posting a few of these style inspiration selfies, vintage pictures and may more.

Style Inspirations Post

Now by the title of this post you may be thinking what Style Inspirations has anything to do with my blog but recently if you follow me on any of my Instagram account you would have noticed that I have started posting #StyleInspiration posts recently and I know what you might think but I just want to resure all my Instagram followers that my feed hasn't changed. In fact the only reason I started posting a few pictures of style onto my blog because I love fashion from all era's and decoration so I thought it was perfect to be able to fit this into my Vintage theme. I also think it gives people ideas on how they want to decorate their homes too or a goal to how they want to have their room when they older.

I do not often do this but I just wanted to do a disclaimer to say all the photos that have been used in this blog post are from Tumblr!

I love how so many people can get inspired on these kind of pictures whether its how you decorate your room to the clothes that you wear. I bet there are thousands of people who do this right? That is what is so good about Tumblr, Pinterest and Instagram.. you can get even get baking tips or even food bloggers are now posting their recipes up on there for everyone to enjoy! I have now become that person where I have started to post a few on my Instagram of these kind of style inspirations and I hope you all enjoy it. I am not sure if its just a phase but at the moment I am enjoying it and quite a lot of people who follow me seem to be.

Two weeks ago I published a new blog post series called #SundayStyle and since I thought about making a new blog post series for you all to enjoy I am thinking about perhaps making this one into one. I have not really thought a lot about yet, It all depends on whether you guys what to read things like this on my blog.

Like #SundayStyle series I have created I won't be publishing them every Sunday, its going to be going up every 2 weeks on my blog and I thought if you liked it I could possible do something similar to that.

Thank you all for reading it means so much that you enjoy my posts just as much as I love to blog about them.
