A Change Is Gonna Come

So much has changed recently and I have always been that kind of person to expect change and embrace the challenges and the exciting times ahead that you might have. That is honestly the best way to look at change, it can be such a crazy thing but with the support of loved ones you can do it. The world that we live in today is always changing and it is hard for people expecially elderly people which I totally can understand their fustration as to why so many things change. Change is something I have been dealing with for a while in my personal and work life, as some of you might know if you have been reading my blog for a while my grandparents were the most important people in my life apart from my parents and sister of course. Now I won't go in to a lot of detail on this matters my friends however my grandad died last year and his 1 year anniversary was in October 2017. Then out of the blue my grandma became poorly in the summer and we got her to the doctors etc, she went into hospital knowing that her cancer had come back after 7 years!! and then blow us it spread so quick to the point that at 86 as she was when she sadly passed away her body couldn't take the kemo and she went up to heaven to join my grandad. She wasn't even ready to go!! Anyway I will move on from that but trying to live without them is so hard especially when you spent 25 years with them, it is heartbreaking. At the moment work has been ridiciously busy and as I work long days and full time it has been so hard to put posts together and I have been craving a day where I could just get back to my laptop and begin more and more posts for you guys.

Something else that has been changing and something that has had a massive effect on my social media platform is Instagram. As you guys will already know by now I have always loved the app Instagram. It has been my favourite app ever but seen they changed the layout a while ago, the posts always seem to be getting missed because sometimes you see things from 2 days a go rather than something has just been posted. It is very annoying and I do not get bothered about likes because I am not obessed with it but it irrates me when I post something great and not a lot of people love it.

Sometimes you just have to expect change no matter what is going on.

Goals For 2018

As 2017s drawing to a close I thought I would share with you some of my goals for the new year. I cannot believe we will be in 2018 very soon it is beyond scary to even think about it. I have nearly really been that kind of person to do a New Years Resolution but last year I did a post about my goals for this year so I wanted to do it again and why not, I guess these things that I am going to discuss with you are what I want to achieve in 2018. So fingers crossed! Lets begin..

The Blog
This year my blog hit its two year anniversary which was insane and I also made Lottie's Lott even better than it was. I want to keep improving and making the best content for you all. Also wouldn't it be great if I could go to Blogger events and make some blogger friends? Yes please wouldn't that be fabulous!

Friendships
2017 told me lots about people and how I would love to meet new people in 2018 and go on another holiday or so? Perhaps even doing online dating... and even move out!

Enjoy Every Moment
Make everything thing last as long as possible, I lost my Grandma in September this year and it was the worst time of my life. Enjoy and treasure everything because once its gone you can never bring it back.

Career
I always want to make things better and keep improving! I am loving being full time and its the best thing I did. 2018 is a chance for developing and making things even better.

I hope 2018  is good for all of us.

All The Details

I wanted to share I post with some of my favourite all time outfits whatever kind of season it is. I love all the different seasons in their own way and I shall start with an outfit that brings me joy, happiness and style. Now this type of outfit is perfect for Summer and actually taken this year in October when I went to Cyprus with my family. So firstly we have a Bowie T shirt which I got from Topshop in January last year as well as the skirt too. It is such a flattering outfit and defintely something I loved wearing on holiday. The whole outfit was from Topshop.

Next has to be one of my favourite jumpers I have ever bought! It is the prettiest and its all thanks to And Other Stories which can I say I absolutely love that shop, it is a shame there isn't one in York and whenever I go to Leeds the first place I want to go is there!! Now as much as I love this store it is very expensive and I was lucky enough to get this jumper for £30 instead of £60! I was very impressed but this a shop you need to go too!

Last but not least is a navy blue jumpsuit with the tiniest flowers you would ever see. This jumpsuit is two years old but one of the greatest things I adore about this is the pattern and how it fits. As soon as I saw it in Zara I knew I had to try it on. It also looks so pretty with pearls, all three of this pictures have come out so well when I was away in Cyprus.

I hope you have enjoyed this post just as much as I loved writing it for you.

It Is Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas I Part Two

'It is beginning to look like Christmas everywhere you go', I love that song and now we are finally in December we can finally sing Christmas songs! This Christmas it is going to be so different for my family as neither my Grandma or Grandad will be with us. I say with us, I know they are but it is the not the same. I know they will be having a sherry and whisky with us, sending us all the love and wishing they were with us. Last year it was our first Christmas without my Grandad and that didn't seem right one bit but we someone got through it and remembered how much he would want us to enjoy it and somewhere in heaven he was there. Nobody realised that we would have lost my Grandma this September and here are pictures of our last Christmas with her last year. I am looking forward to Christmas but it will not be the same, we just have to remember the Christnas's we have had with both of them and realise how lucky we were to have for such a long time. Christmas makes everyone happy and I am looking forward to putting our tree up this year, we haven't got up but as from the 15th of December our tree will be up. Christmas is such a magical time of the year especially for children, I used to get so excited on Christmas Eve and could never sleep. I always would look out of my bedroom window to see if I could see Father Christmas coming.. happy times.
Christmas of course changes as you get older and you appreciate spending time with your family and friends rather than presents. It is a happy time of the year but it goes so fast, people spend months preparing for Christmas and it just goes like that but oh its fabulous.

Tiz' the season to be jolly right? I hope you all have a fabulous Christmas!
