Reflecting on January

Welcome back to a blog series that I want to continue doing through 2018 as last year it was successful and I enjoyed doing them. So here we are, nearly at the end of January and over the last few weeks I have seen so many tweets regarding the fact that January is a depressing month, people have no money and after the New Year you get out of the Christmas bubble and get back to work. However for myself January is my birthday month and actually when I write this post on Sunday 28th January I have just celebrated my birthday.. or shall I say my 26th Birthday!! How scary does that sound.. I am definitely getting old and things are starting to make me realise how much I would love to get a boyfriend, have my own place and get married and hve children. I have been thinking about the whole online dating and the beginning of December I embarked on the idea of getting Tinder.. yes I was speaking to my cousin's girlfriend at the time and she mentioned to me about how she's known people who have met their partners through Tinder so I thought why ever not. I may actually have to get myself on a proper dating app where they actually ask questions and match you up. Grandma always used to stay you'll find someone when you don't least expect it and nothing stays the same. But Grandma, can you look down on me in heaven and tell me when that is going to happen?

January so far hasn't been a bad month, I know its the month where people start doing the New Year Resolutions and as I mentioned in my previous blog post I didn't do any resolutions. More like goals that I wanted to achieve and actually one thing I didn't say was about the gym. I really want to start going to the gym as I do not do a lot of exercise and at the moment I have two days at work that I finish after lunch so its perfect for me to ago after work and then on a weekend. The only issue is David Lloyds is so expensive and I certainly would not be able to afford paying £60 a month if I still worked at my previous doctors surgery I worked at before.

So this year was my first birthday with my Grandma and my second without my Grandad. I was very lucky in the fact for the last 5/6 years I was able to spend my birthday with them and had some fabulous times with me. Grandma took me to Betty's on my 21st Birthday and on my 18th Birthday we went to see War Horse which she loved. Last year myself, my sister, grandma and auntie all went to Newcastle for the day and it was a fab day but looking back now no one would have thought that grandma would not be here anymore. On Wednesday I just thought to myself they are both wishing me 'many happy returns of the day' thats what she would always say and put in her card'. However I knew they would both be happy as I celebrated my birthday with my friends and went to Bills, eat some lovely food and drank prosecco. Then went out for tea and drinks with my family which was great!

That has been my January, I hope you have a good start to the year!!

 Here is to February.

The Style Inspiration Post: Lets Get Inspired By Kate Moss

I recently decided it was time to bring back the good old posts called Style Inspiration and this was something I did do in 2017 but perhaps not as much as I wanted to do. I put all my time into my blog last year and even though when I maybe full time I worked harder and harder just to make sure I had good quality content and lots of it. I began to realise that if I was going to achieve this and actually keep doing it, I was going to have blog has much as possible and so my free time after work became blog time. However some days after I finished work, blogging was the last thing I wanted to do and some nights I just enjoyed binge watching one of my favourite show's on Netflix , Suits. I was lucky enough to have 2 short days and this meant work till lunch and then blog blog blog when I got home. This actually works so much better and actually feel like I am doing something rather than having the awful feeling when all you want to do is watch telly. Now that is a good thing of course and even on a weekend I like to blog as much as I can, I quite like to do it on a Saturday night if there isn't a lot on and if I have exhausted watching Netflix then its a definte must.

I always get inspired by lots of different things and people. At the moment Kate Moss is the one, I don't know why but she's always been so beautiful and I have always been obessed with her style, her beauty and the way she model's. I recently have got back on the Kate Moss fan girl group and I am very happy about it. She seems to be on people's Instagram's quite a lot recently and even on mine! How can you not love the? She is such an iconic woman and such an inspiration to so many people.

I absolutely adore these photos of Kate Moss. She really is a goddess don't you think?

Let me know in the comments who inpires you right now.

Hello 2018

I wanted to say a very Happy New Year to you all, I hope you had a fabulous time celebrating however you did it! For myself I am not really into New Years Eve and would be quite happy to spend it at home watching a movie or this time I watched Game Of Thrones which I loved doing. Of course it would be so much better getting dressed up and looking like something of The Great Gatsby but unfortuntely that has happened yet. I hope this year I will find someone or at least have more friends to be able to go out more and celebrate! At the end of the day New Years Eve is just another day and it is very over rated and ridiciously expensive so I suppose a quiet night in is okay right?

2018 here you are and how happy I am to see you. A fresh new start, a new year, a new beginning. Of course we go into 2018 without two of the most important humans in my life - my wondetful grandparents who are no longer with us, but there spirit, their love lives on forever. The last two years haven't been great and hoping that 2018 is going to be better for us all. Last year I left my job at Priory Medical Group and joined another GP surgery Unity Health in September and it was a great thing. Finally no longer a 'part timer' and can say I earn a decent amount of money even month.. lets cheers to that! Honestly though it makes such a difference, I can do whatever I want and don't have to worry about if I have enough to last me till the month. All those worries have gone and also its great working with people who are similar age to you rather than working with ladies who are old enough to be your mum. Don't get me wrong, I loved working with them all and I do miss Priory but you remember the memories and take all you have learnt into everything else you do!

I love the start of a new year don't you? Everyone's getting back into the swing of things, people are wanting to achieve New Year Resolutions or have a list of things they want to do this year. The perfect opportunity to try new things and make 2018 a year to remember.  It really is a great time of the year and do you know what is coming up on 24th January, my 26th birthday. 26 is a scary age to turn and I am not looking forward to it. It will be the first birthday with my Grandma.which will be very strange but hey so was Christmas.. I guess you just have to remember they are there no matter what and one day it will get easier.. I hope.
