New Year, New Beginnings

Hello 2019! How are we all doing? I hope you had a fabulous New Year. I spent mine at a family friends house and it was great. I must say I aren't a fan of New Years Eve so usually I just have a chilled night at home but this time it was a lot different and I actually enjoyed it.

Despite waking up on New Years Day with a headache around 10am, I had a slow start and decided to head to the gym at lunch time. It actually was a great start to the New Year, I had a good workout and because it was auch a gorgeous day I had a swim in the outside pool and even went in the Jaccusi outside.. it was FAB-U-LOUS if I do say so myself. Then when I go back, Netflix was on and watched the last episode of The Haunting Hill House. I also do not know how I managed to even watch that..

1. I hate horror films
2. Anything scary is not my thing

I do have to admit, it was terrifying and I had quite a lot of the scary parts on mute. Anyway I was glad I watched it, I wouldn't rewatch it but if they did another series I'd definitely watch it. There isn't an awful lot on Netflix at the moment, nothing that grabs me. I am watching YOU but it is very weird and not sure how I feel about it. It bascially a guy who stalks a girl, I am only just starting watching episode 3 so who knows. If anyone has any suggestions, I would love to know!

Below is my New Year Eve's outfit and I love it. So its simple but very effective and it really does look lovely. So lets start off with the pinafore, I have mentioned it on my blog before but I bought it in 2017 for my birthday from Topshop. I have just started to wear it again as I was getting bored of just wearing jeans all the time and wanted to mix my style up about. Also, the blouse is from a vintage shop in my city, York. It was such a perfect find and I was so happy.

I have found an alternative to the pinafore, I really do like it. It is very similar but the colour is slightly different. I think you all will love it.

Also the earrings I actually wore are also from Topshop, which you can still buy. They are gold chunky ones and also come in silver too. I couldn't find them when I was lookimg for them but found some lovely ones which I adore!
