Discovering New Inspiration And My Love Of Vintage Cars And White Dresses I STYLE INSPIRATION

I'm absolutely loving this gorgeous heatwave that is currently going on right now in the UK, it is the best well not when your sweating at work but apart from that it is glorious. With the sunshine in mind I was really after doing a post creating the most summer vibes right now, the classic white dress, a straw hat and a gorgeous handbag but then I found what I was looking for in a whole other dimension. I did a blog post a year and a half ago about my favourite retro cars that I loved and just when I was scrolling through Tumblr I saw the most perfect photos which for me just sums up Summer and all the vibes you think of.

Reflecting On July

It's been a while since I sat down and typed about how my month has been and how I've been feeling. The thing I have realised in these Reflecting On My Month' posts is how great they are to look back on and in some ways they are great to develop and learn new things about yourself. Sometimes this posts can be so detailed and I'm ready to spill the contents of my head into this blog space again but other days I prefer too not ramble and just share what it is going on. So here we are nearly into August and how it is frightening how fast Summer is going. I wish Summer could stay forever and I could wear all the pretty dresses in the world and go on as many holidays.. (Can I we talk about this photo of myself on my holiday nearly a year ago in the gorgeous Crete! The weather was beautiful.

My mind has been occupied with work, fitness - eating healthy and exercising before  I jet off to Cape Verde, and let me tell you my friends it truly isn't that long at all now! 8 days left and I'm counting.. a week in Cape Verde (the place where stress doesn't occur) where it feels like Summer and you spent your days by the beach, in the sea and eating so much food everyday. It sounds bliss doesn't it? One of my goals to achieve by the end of the year is getting a camera so I can start making videos, taking different kind of photos rather than the bog standard same old selfie. I really want to experiment more on my photography and perhaps try out a IGTV video or two. I have seen one which I rather do like from John Lewis but yes that is something I won't be getting yet but towards the end of 2017 I would like to start developing into the world of IGTV.

I have seen a huge drop in my likes/followers on Instagram and because of the algorithm it really has effected my posts. I don't really talk a lot on my blog about this as it never really used to bother me until now. Instagram, is never about the likes or followers but its nice to see that people care and enjoy the posts that you share on your feed. As always, to my readers and to my followers on my Instagram, Twitter and BlogLovin' thank you for always supporting me and following my journey.

Glossier: Here Is What I Still Use

If you haven't heard of Glossier seriously where have you been? I was a little late to the party about this hype behind this brand but then I took the bullet and purchased by very first order in January and to be quite honest I never looked back. I am a lover of glowy skin and natural looking makeup and I would love to head to NYC and actually go to their store just to have the full on Glossier experience. Since January I have been loving their skincare and makeup products and I am very happy to say that I use quite a lot of them in my daily routine.

Glossier are all about skin first. makeup second. So that is just what we are going to do.

I love these three vitamin-packed serums! When I bought them, they had been redeveloped and so much bigger to what they used to be. Super Pure is great to target blemishes and impurities and I love applying it onto my face first before adding in the next two serums. I only add 3/4 drops of each starting with the lightest which is recommended by Glossier. Or sometimes my skin just needs one of the serums. It all depends on how your skin is feeling and whether its feeling dehydrated or your skin needs a bit of brightness.

All I have to say about this mist is that I find it very gentle and refreshing on my face. It has a hint or rosewater which I love.

Glossier Stretch Concealer

This is the best concealer I have ever tried and oh my days I love love it. It is my favourite Glossier make up product from then. I have never come across a concealer that is hydrating and glossy under the eye. It does not give you a lot of coverage but it brightens up your eye lids and makes your skin look so fresh. The best way to apply it under your eyes is either with your fingers or use a fluffy brush to blend it in.

Cloud Paint

I don't know about you but when I heard about Glossier the only product I wanted to try out was the Cloud Paint. Why? Because I was so curious as to how you could produce a gel-cream formula to apply onto your cheeks as blush and it works! I love Puff which is a pretty pink colour but also have been loving Dusk which is a brownish nude and I really love them.

Wowder Powder

Here we have the Wowder Powder and I generally love this finishing and setting powder and here is why.

1. It isn't cakey.
2. Looks flawless when you apply it to your skin.
3.It's available in 5 shades so it is perfect for every skint tone out there!
4. It also comes with a Wonder Brush which you can either buy together or not and it works great.

These lipsticks are the best thing since sliced bread! Thank you Glossier for creating the perfect sheer matte lipstick. I love them and I have about 3 different shades, the first being like which is a cool pinky colour

I remember when this was launched, only a few months ago and I remember seeing the eye and lip cream on Glossier's Instagram and thought to myself 'Wow, that product looks amazing'. I need to try it out and I absolutely love it. The skin around your eyes and lips is thinner and more fragile than the rest of your face and that's where Bubblewrap comes in as it ultra-hydrating! I would purchase this all over again when I run out.
