The Style Round Up | Style Inspiration Series
A couple of years ago now, I created a blog series called 'Style Inspiration' and I did various blog posts with lots of different kind of inspiration and why I liked them. I even did a Kate Moss version as she is my favourite model of the 90's. I cannot remember when I last did a blog like this, I think it must have been a year ago but I was looking back through my old blog posts and remembered how much I loved creating these. These images are all from Tumblr and that is where I get my inspiration from and Pinterest too which I have started to love again. I love posting style images on my Instagram and on my blog too. I love everything about style, I love modern fashion, I love classics pieces but yet I love vintage and that is the beauty about fashion. You don’t have just to stick to one type of style, not if you don’t want too.
Back in 2015 when Lottie’s Lott stopped being a dream and became the real thing I was certain that I wanted to start doing these kind of round up posts I just didn’t know where to begin. You see my heart was dedicated to Old Hollywood and that was what I was focused on. I still am and always will be but over the years I became interested it writing about different minds of fashion and that’s when I was obsessed with George Harrison and Pattie Boyd. They are both still my favourite 1960s couple and still in love with both of them! It’s funny how much blogging or a social media platform can change things in a good way. For example I didn’t realise Pattie Boyd existed on this planet which as I write this I feel ‘well why didn’t I not know’ I just didn’t know much about the 1960s and now it is my favourite era along with the 1950s of course. In the modern world, so many people inspire to dress or even look like their idols. Some people dream of being them and I find that fascinating as if you were that person you would feel so honoured.
Everybody has their own style, how they like to dress, if they were make up or not or how they do their hair. At the end of the day, let’s be unique and let’s thank the world we have style inspiration because what would I do without it.
