Christmas Day and Saying Goodbye To 2019

As I write this, Christmas is over and we are heading in 2020 very soon. In this post, I wanted to share a few little snaps of Christmas Day. But before we begin, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed celebrating with your loved ones, I don't know about you but Christmas this year has flown by and it my opinion it went too fast! I worked Christmas Eve and didn't finish till 6pm so it was a long day and turned out to be very quiet indeed and I was munching away on the Quality Streets whilst wishing I was at home watching a Christmas movie. Anyway, by the time I left, we collected our Indian takeaway and headed home and had a lovely evening eating and then watched Butch Cassidy and the Sundown kid which I loved as it was the first time I had watched it. On Christmas Day, my grandparents came round so there was the six of us. Christmas morning was lovely and both myself and my sister were very lucky! Even though we never ask for anything our parents always by us some fabulous things or shall I say mum! We then had to get ready quick as my grandparents came round so early.. then usual. We had a few photo's with my grandma (poor Grandma she has dementia) and this year she really has got worse which is why photo's like this year and spending time with her is so precious. My dad (with the help of my mum) cooked up a storm and our Christmas dinner was great.

After having three courses as you can imagine I was very full and ended up having some gammon sandwiches about 10pm before going to bed. Boxing day, was a very lazy day and got up around 10am that morning and watched Mrs Wilson until about lunch time when we went for a walk and then came back and watched films all day. Mum and dad made bubble and squeak for tea with the leftover veg which was very good and had pigs in blankets. (Sorry if you are vegetarian or vegan).

I had an early night and went to bed as I was back at work on Friday but luckily wasn't that bad. It is Sunday now and I had a productive morning at the gym and thought I would finish off this post as this one will be my last post of 2019.

I hope you have a wonderful start to the New Year however you spend it, I must say I'm not a huge fan of New Year's Eve but I'm excited to say bye to 2019 and head into 2020. Wow, cannot believe I just said that, time is flying by and it is very scary. I must say I'm not wasting any time in 2020, its too precious to not and have so many things I want to achieve and do. As I'm not getting any younger.. I hope 2020 is a better year for myself and for each and everyone of you.
